What colors are you surrounded by in your day-to-day life?
Everyday Colors is an exploration of the colors that we are surrounded by in daily life. The human eye absorbs a lot of visual information that the mind processes subconsciously, and color is one of them. Rarely do we ever actively think about the color of an object when looking at our surroundings. Through this project, I am able to observe the colors in objects and spaces that are a constant presence in my everyday life by isolating those colors from all other visual information. The isolated colors themselves become their own color palette and canvas which create an abstraction. This abstraction allows us to explore and imagine the emotions and imagery created by the colors we normally would not be consciously thinking about.
